A Season of Smiles, Celebration, and Success Across the CareCore Family

As the leaves changed and autumn arrived, our CareCore communities filled October with color, laughter, and connection. From festive parades and themed lunches to heartfelt success stories, each of our centers came together to celebrate teamwork, compassion, and the joy of caregiving.

Here’s a look back at the highlights that made October truly unforgettable!

CareCore at Heritage – Oktoberfest Parade

What a WUNDERBAR day at the Minster Oktoberfest Parade! Heritage staff and residents were thrilled to join this joyful community tradition, surrounded by cheerful crowds, lively music, and smiling faces.

Residents waved to friends and families along the route, soaking in the laughter and the festive spirit that defines small-town life. Thank you to everyone in Minster for the warm welcome and community pride. Until next year, Prost!

Garden Park – Pumpkin Carving

Pumpkin carving was in full swing at Garden Park! Residents rolled up their sleeves to design their own spooky and silly creations. These seasonal activities are more than just fun; they foster creativity, dexterity, and social connection, all while celebrating the joy of autumn.

Main Street – Honoring Our Dietary Team

Willowood – Chinese Lunch Bunch

Residents at Willowood enjoyed a flavorful and fun Chinese Lunch Bunch! From fortune cookies to shared laughter, this cultural dining experience encouraged engagement and connection, reminding everyone that great food brings people.

Mentor – Standing Strong in Pink

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Mentor team proudly wore pink pins and bracelets to show their support for survivors, fighters, and those we remember.

Montgomery – Costume Contest Fun

Things got spooky (and silly!) at Montgomery during our Staff Costume Contest! Residents had the honor of voting for their favorite outfits, bringing smiles all around. Events like these create joy, strengthen bonds, and remind us that laughter is the best medicine.

Lakeridge – A Spooktacular Halloween Party

Our residents and staff at Lakeridge celebrated Halloween in true CareCore fashion, with laughter, dancing, and a few friendly frights! The costumes, the treats, and the togetherness made for an unforgettable day of community fun.

When I arrived at Willowood in early August, everything had changed — I was completely dependent on others for my care. But with the help of the wonderful therapy staff, I started to make progress.”
