A Month of Renewal, Celebration, and Connection Across CareCore

April brought meaningful milestones, springtime activities, and joyful gatherings across CareCore communities. From Easter season moments and Earth Day projects to resident outings, awards, and birthday celebrations, the month was filled with connection, recognition, and new memories. Here’s a look at the highlights that made April special!

Margaret Hall – A Meaningful Faith Milestone

A beautiful and special moment took place at Margaret Hall as Jamie Dameron became a member of the Catholic faith. With support from resident sponsor Margi Christos and guidance from Fr. Mike Nartker, the day was filled with meaning, faith, and heartfelt congratulations.

Willowood – Earth Day Seed Planting

Willowood celebrated Earth Day by planting seeds, giving residents a hands-on way to welcome spring and connect with nature.

Westmoreland – Tattoos and Brews

Residents at Westmoreland enjoyed a fun Tattoos and Brews event with help from Adena Hospice. Everyone picked their favorite temporary tattoos, with some choosing bold designs, making it a playful and memorable experience.

Heritage – Resident Awards Recognition

Heritage celebrated two ICF residents during Auglaize Industries’ annual spring ceremony. Georgeann received the Most Inspirational award, while Shirley was honored as Most Outstanding Worker.

Main Street – Cooking Club Parfaits

Main Street’s Cooking Club created chocolate and vanilla parfaits, offering a sweet and engaging activity that everyone enjoyed.

Gaymont – Ice Cream and Country Drive

Gaymont residents enjoyed a special outing filled with ice cream, sunshine, and sightseeing. Stops included views of the Thomas Edison home and museum, Milan Canal Basin, Norwalk Reservoir, old cars, and beautiful country fields.

Mary Scott – April Birthday Celebration

Mary Scott celebrated April birthdays with music, dancing, and joyful moments, honoring wonderful lives in a warm and festive way.

Mentor – Sundae Bar Social

Mentor residents enjoyed a sundae bar, creating a sweet social moment filled with favorite toppings, conversation, and smiles.

As April comes to a close, we’re grateful for the meaningful experiences and everyday moments that continue to bring our communities together.
